What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state between sleep and wakefulness. Daydreaming is a similar state to hypnosis. You may go in and out of trance like states several times a day and be unaware of it. When in this state you are aware of your surroundings and in charge but you will feel very relaxed.
During hypnosis the subconscious mind is more receptive to positive suggestions. Because a client must want to be hypnotized all hypnosis can be thought of as self hypnosis.
